Sounds awesome! I’ll have to check it out. I only played Kings Quest I and II.
eingybear?
Crap! My embarrassing IM name has been unleashed upon the world! Duck for cover!
Dude… King’s Quest III was the shiznit when it came out. All that mixing of magical reagents when the master was gone… so much tension.
Must… go… download…
Must… stop… using… ellipses…
King’s quest III was one of the very first games I played on our home computer (so it excludes the games I played at school). Sierra Online had game called Camelot and a Robin Hood adventure game (I forget the name; maybe something like The Legend of the Longbow?) that I had played before this one. These three games turned me into an adventure gamer for life. I loved, loved, loved these games. These are the games that I stayed up into the wee hours to finish. My heart belongs to Sierra.
“My heart belongs to Sierra.”
🙁
😀
Well, hell, cuddlykerolumpkins doesn’t sound so embarrassing anymore…
Actually, I didn’t really like Camelot or Robin Hood all that much 😉
Personally, it was all about Police Quest and Quest for Glory!!!
The Quest for Glory series pissed me off because it was an RPG masquerading as an adventure game. I *hated* working on increasing the stupid stats at every turn.
I just got it downloaded and installed. I can’t wait to play it when I get home! Wheeee!
